Abyss

The structure suspended from the ceiling is a kaleidoscope large enough for a single person to be fully surrounded by mirrors inside to allow a visitor to be enveloped with lights. The images from the projectors on the ground are scanned photographs of Gelora with lighting (Gelora is the term Bin coined combining Gel from Silica Gel and Lora from Flora.) The gesture of scanning fallen flowers with silica gels and light is to resuscitate dehydrated, rotten beings. Crystallizing them with this gesture parallels the desire to capsulize time and space.
