Memories of Seoul
Memories of Seoul (2017) is a co-produced artwork with travelers to create new images by collecting and connecting their memories of places in Seoul.
Handing the camera to tourists in Seoul inverts the gaze on the city. Their photographs of the same places are then layered into single images as an imprint of authorship. Projected across the walls of the gallery in double exposure (2022), the image and the memory of home become fleeting.
