Fallen flowers picked up on the ground were brought into the studio, sometimes dried. Moved gently with fingers on a flatbed scanner without closing the lid, following the scanner light moving vertically. Silica gels were placed with the flowers to preserve them. Some images were made with added lighting against the scanning light.
Two galvanized ⅛ × 30 aircraft wires cross over within a 14 × 14 foot square space, forming an X-shape with four lines from a central point. On each line, two white vinyl blinds (23 × 72 inches) are suspended with thin silver fishing hooks. At the corners, projectors on stacked pedestals project Gelora images in four color themes, pink, white, burgundy/red, orange, roughly 60 images across 60 minutes as a slideshow. Visitors navigate the space, sometimes blocking images and making shadows.
